The Story of Samar Verma

 It is a fictional story. The moral is to Make World a Happy Place to live.

It was Samar Verma. He had a family of three- Samar, Deepika and their pet dog named Gravity.

Married in 2007 to Deepika Singh, he continuously demanded for dowry to Deepika’s family, unless and until she committed suicide. She died out of fear, fear of being beaten up every day, fear to fulfil Samar’s demands, fear of becoming a burden to his parents and God knows what more.

Her parents knew about domestic violence was due to dowry. Now, when they raised their voice to the public and to the government, it was already too late. To make world a better place to live in they raised voice for justice.

Samar was sentenced to imprisonment of seven years until “hang till death”. The news got viral, and a message was spread.

Samar was imprisoned for seven years. These years has also been tough for him; he realized his mistake. He gradually he got to know that he had been giving his wife and his in-laws a very tough time.

Where he used to be an aggressive person, he changed for good, he was now a soft person. Being soft in prison did give him a hard time.

After seven years, it was the time for him to get hanged. Before that, he was asked what his last wish was, he answered that he wish to see his dog (Gravity) who was acquired by police during his arrest. Even on parole, he spent time with his dog Gravity. Some people want their letters, some want to meet their family or have a talk to someone outside very important to them, but this was something weird. None of the gaurd have ever heard of such a request before.

All the guards and the jailor had an hour-long debate whether he should be allowed to meet his dog inside prison. Is it safe for them; is it safe for other prisoners. The Debate ended with a conclusion that he would be allowed to see Gravity only for ten minutes on the day.

The day of judgement came; he met his dog. Seeing the love, the bond they both share, everyone got mesmerized. Even the walls have a heart and so do jailor. Jailor had a meeting with the judge, and a courtroom was set up inside the prison. The last and the final meeting was prepared where the judgement was passed that Samar has clear record of fights or jail escape. He realized his mistake and everything is about to make world a better place. The judge passed the order to release him the next weekend.

The day came, he was going back to his life, he had nobody in his life now except Gravity. The doors of the jail opened where Gravity was waiting for him sitting by the door waving his tail. Both of them lived life happily after.
